Academic Coordinator

BCA's resident director in Derry and established Peace and Justice scholar, Dr. James Skelly, serves as BCA's Coordinator for Peace and Justice programming.

Dr. Skelly is a Senior Fellow at the Baker Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies at Juniata College in Pennsylvania. In addition, he is a visiting lecturer at the University of Ulster’s Magee College in Derry. 

The courses he teaches at Magee are part of the Peace and Conflict Studies curriculum at Juniata College and include Globalization & the New Wars; Self, Identity, & Conflict; War and the Dilemmas of Soldiers; and, Nonviolence.
